We started off the year 2008 by talking to some Canadians that hadnÕt yet become the big names they are today. Edmonton, Alberta native Jamie Tancowny and North Vancouver-born Russ Milligan are interviewed and the art of Tiffany Bozic graces the cover. We hit a major milestone this year by celebrating our 20th issue when 6.2 flew off the printing press. Within the Volume, instead of being the focus of the interview, Rick McCrank asks the questions and Silas Baxter Neal answers. Jordan Hoffart is featured and Morgan Smith, Paul Lilliani, and Brandon del Bianco get Shazamed, Shoot to Thrill gets even bigger, and thereÕs a feature on the skate thrash music scene.
The two Special Editions of the Volume come in a smaller, book-size format. First, the SE Kids issue complete with golden spine and little buddies skating and modeling throughout. Then the SE Green issue, our first 100% recycled paper edition. In this eco-conscious issue Kenny Anderson talks about his bio-diesel car converting business and a very special fashion editorial art directed by Corey Adams brings a whole new look to a ravaged apocalyptic world.
